Sometimes words are not enough. More is said in the smiles you shyly grace me with when late at night the world is caving in on you and me. Your eyes are more coherent than your lips at times, the silence makes you easier to read. Sometimes there just aren't any words to describe unerringly just what you're feeling at a given moment out of the many you experience. What do you do then?

You come to me, and what you don't say tells me volumes about what's been keeping you up at night. I know you're restless by just how many times you blink in seconds. Sometimes you can have faith that I will understand you, irrespective of the words that escape your mouth. Your sighs will let me know of the hidden agitation in your head.

I'll always know.
