I don't want to abandon you, because, let's face it, you've always helped me abandon the world when I needed to get away from it. If I let you go now, there are going to be moments I'll miss you intensely, and regret is going to drive me insane.

DeleteMy last words to my ex-flame had been 'Miss me sometimes, remember me always.' This was after we both had put together our respective hearts with glue and cellotape and stickers.. and he was fleeing the country for the second time around (the first was when we had broken up) and this time it was for good.
